On 5 September 2005, the Cobh Town Clerk, Mr Paraig Lynch, signed an order granting permission for the proposed re-ordering of the St. Colman's Cathedral Sanctuary.

Convinced that this re-ordering would be detrimental to the architectural heritage of the Cathedral, "The Friends of St. Colman's Cathedral" intends to appeal the decision to An Bord Pleanála. To finance the cost of the appeal (legal fees, architectural and planning consultancy, miscellaneous expenses), "The Friends" are counting on your generosity. |
